Colette is a poetry editor and tutor with many years of experience. She has held literary fellowships at the universities of Dundee, Newcastle, Durham, Manchester, and Notre Dame, and from 2009-2013 she was Poetry Editor for the journal Poetry London. She has tutored residential courses at the Arvon Foundation for many years as well as regular short courses in poetry for Newcastle University, seminars for the Poetry School, and creative writing workshops for many organizations.
Colette is able to undertake private mentoring arrangements from time to time, involving several meetings, which are often focused towards editing a pamphlet poetry collection. She can also offer one-off tutorials to provide detailed feedback on a group of poems.
These are conducted in person and can provide a space to identify any problems you may be experiencing with your writing and to look at strategies for taking it further.
